This two day course is designed for Anaesthetists and Point Of Care clinicians interested in developing their skills in ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia. Participants will gain the confidence and knowledge to perform regional anaesthesia in various anatomical regions in their clinical setting. Tuition is conducted in small groups and limited to 4 students to allow for adequate time to practice.
This course will be run by our supporting Clinical Facility (Dr Craig Daniel and Dr Phil Stagg) with expertise in a range of upper, lower, core and trunk blocks.
Procedural GPs can receive $2000 per day, for up to 10 days of training per financial year, and GPs providing hospital based emergency services can receive up to three days of eligible training per financial year.
Procedural Grant: Eligible for 1 day Emergency Medicine, Anaesthetics, Obstetrics, Surgery
CICM Accredited – Lectures – Category 2A, points per hour 1;

ACEM Accredited – 15 CPD Hours
